Abstract

A specimen of the Macaroni Penguin (Eudyptes chrysolophus) was collected al Punta Ninfas, Chubut. There were no previous records of that species for the Argentine Continental Territory. The species is characteristic of the peri-antarctic islands.

In the paper as published, in the title and text, “chrysolophus” was rendered as “chrisolophus”.
